Pictured above are the Clubbs cheerleaders 1956-57.   The photo was contributed by Sheila Phillips Smith.  That's Sheila on the far left.  I'm sure you will also recognize two other fellow classmates in the photograph:  Cookie Taylor (front row, 3rd from the left), and Sandy McLeod (2nd row, far right).

In 1957, according to the school newspaper, THE TATTLER, 369 ninth graders left Clubbs to enter high school, and 336 of those students would enter PHS in the fall of that year.  For those of you who were part of this group, we've got some exciting news!  Thanks to Sheila and Arnold Seligman (and Arnold's mom who saved them),  we've received some well-worn issues of THE TATTLER. We have ironed out the wrinkles and posted them here for your enjoyment.  If any of you have other issues that you would like to share, please let us know.
